I wanted some insight on this position as I was contacted by a recuiter in regards to it. What are realistic 1st earnings? Culture? Products compared to competitors? High turnover? Thanks in advance.

I would pass on this. It seems nobody, inside or outside, knows what is going on.

    Shades of Toshiba.

Yes, pass on this. Looking to get out as this company is so poorly run it's unbelievable. They make EVERYTHING difficult.

Would like some insight to this as well. Was contacted by a recruiter for a position in the northeast, NYC area, handling “smaller hospitals and imaging centers.” Was told previous rep was let go. Any insight?

Would absolutely not pursue this. Philips' senior leadership is laughable and their comp plan is terrible. The DI side of Philips has taken a massive hit reputation-wise over the last 5 years. Additionally, Philips North America is basically a distributor for Royal Philips and they have no desire to actually be competitive in pricing. Worst mistake of my career spending a year and a half with them.

absolutely agree. a mess. they started 2017 off by reducing every quota carrying employee's salary by $5000. I know the commission is where the $$ is, but what a slap in the face. stick w GE or Siemens. Philips can't give away heavy iron. good IR lab- everything else not so much.

Anyone new feedback on Cardiology/Radiology these days? Considering a look at the CO/WY opening. Thanks.

Like any company, there are some good territories out there. BUT, the company is terrible. You’re out of your mind if you go sell for them.

I don't want to pile on here but all the responses ring true. I worked as a CRAM for Philips and there's way too many cons with this organization to advise anyone to join this company. Worst leadership you will encounter (should not even be called 'Leadership' at this place) impossible tracking of your commission, Salesforce.com will have you working late into the evening, older culture of veterans from HP and people coasting into retirement, not price competitive, too large of an organization with WAY too many silos, no one has an answer for anything but rather passes the buck to another department and another, constant change and new processes being rolled out all the time, Peter Principle for a career path within the company.

RUN. DON'T LOOK BACK. YOUR WELCOME.

LOL. Truer words have never been spoken! This is Philips in a nutshell. Regardless of division. Agreed, look elsewhere and best of luck!
