    Esbriet got royally shafted. I put in much more effort than my Xolair respiratory counterpart and I'm getting pinkslipped.

    You're right. Most Esbriet reps come from small biotech, rare disease sales.
    As such they know how to work in competitive environments, uncover need for therapy and find untreated patients. In essence the job requires BRAINS. It is clear GENE and it's cult-like mentality prefers go-with-the-flow "yes-men" like yourself.........so yes - they are keeping zombies like you who need constant coaching and direction and letting real talent graduate on to companies that are looking for people who know how to sell. Congrats - you are one of the morons who was kept and thinks there is a future here, puff out your chest and keep telling everyone how great you are.

    Yes, your rare disease education is incredibly utilized. Look at your marketshare. Of course you will cast blame onto others. Simple fact. You are losing marketshare to a drug with an inferior side effect profile. This drug needs closers........More so than any other product. IPF diagnosis, PA, Ship Drug. The docs are reaching for OFEV, and you are too intimidated to ask them why? Instead, you blame marketing, or anyone of your other support staff. I think the MSL's currently the excuse du jour.
