    Hardly! The Senate was Republican at the time and if you recall, Clinton was a Democrat.

    This was a ramrod sham by the president's own party with presents for those who helped.

    A quid pro quo of sorts. :cool:

    Fail! The same mechanism could have still been at work, so there is NO more reason to believe that Trump bought acquittal any more than Clinton did.
