Yeah, you’ve never heard of autocorrect have you?
When you take the easy, self serving way out, you concede!:p:D

You used to call it typos, now you're calling it autocorrect?

My question now is not "What are you drinking?" but "How long have you been drinking?" :p

And my e car costs me $7 a month to drive around town. I plug it in at home every night. My SUV is great for road trips but not as practical for a town car as my ecar. My ecar is not as practical for a road trips as my SUV.

My ratio of road trips (requiring gassing up during the trip) to those NOT requiting gassing up is about 1 to 15 so I think the drunk guy is talking about something he isn't familiar with or maybe just has different needs. People have different needs ya know? If there was a perfect, practical car for the average person, there would be exactly one car available for sale in the USA.;)

As always you’re fighting a fight you've already lost. Ecars are not practical for the vast majority of the population which is why they only have a 2% market share. You lose! ;)

You're a joke having set up a fake premise that you attempt to attribute to me and then argue against it? Look at my 1st post. I have never said ecars would be the 'average car' for the vast majority anytime soon - what I said long ago (and it's true) is that ecars have come of age and will be a growing market share here and in the rest of the world. I first stated it when TSLA IPO'd and you knuckle draggers poo-pooed it. Now you're going nuts because every car company has one - and the market share is growing. LOL.

Global EV sales totaled about 1.1 million for the first half of 2019, an increase of 46% compared to the total sold in the first half of 2018. During the first half of 2019, EV sales increased by 22% in the U.S., 66% in China, and 35% in Europe compared to the first half of 2018. Just wait until 2nd half of 2019 is reported. .

And simultaneously, fossil fuel market share is cratering. The world’s fossil fuel vehicle sales have continued to freefall in 2019, dropping by around 4.35 million, or some 4.7%, compared to 2018, accelerating a now inexorable trend. Global electric vehicle sales meanwhile have continued to rise, with 2019 EV market share reaching 4.7% in China and 3.8% in Europe. (Note that “electric vehicles” in this report concerns both fully electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.)

Look what's happening to Ford & GM stock. Then look what's happening to Tesla stock.
Companies are even building electric motorcycles now and pickup trucks !!! If you snooze you lose and you lost that battle dude. They're here to stay and going up while fossil fuel cars market share gradually craters. Case closed, over and out.

SOMETHINGS TO THINK ABOUT! ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WILL BECOME REALITY IN THE NEXT 10-20 YEARS. MANY OF US WON’T SEE THE CHANGES, BUT OUR KIDS AND GRANDKIDS PROBABLY WILL.

1- The basic auto repair shops will disappear. Read on to know why.

2- A petrol/diesel engine has 20,000 individual parts. An electrical motor has 20. Electric cars are sold with lifetime guarantees and are repaired only by dealers. It takes only 10 minutes to remove and replace an electric motor.

3- Faulty electric motors are not repaired in the dealership but are sent to a regional repair shop that repairs them with robots

4- Your electric motor malfunction light goes on, so you drive up to what looks like a car wash, and your car is towed through while you have a cup of coffee and out comes your car with a new electric motor!

5- Petrol pumps will go away.

6- Street corners will have meters that dispense electricity. Companies will install electrical recharging stations; in fact, they’ve already started in the developed world.

7- Smart major auto manufacturers have already designated money to start building new plants that build only electric cars.

8-Coal industries will go away. Gasoline/oil companies will go away. Drilling for oil will stop.
So say goodbye to OPEC! The middle-east is in trouble

9- Homes will produce and store more electrical energy during the day and then they use and will sell it back to the grid. The grid stores it and dispense it to industries that are high electricity users. Has anybody seen the Tesla roof?

10- A baby of today will see personal cars only in museums. The FUTURE is approaching faster than most of us can handle.

11- Autonomous cars: In 2018 the first self-driving cars are already here. In the next 2 years, the entire industry will start to be disrupted. You won’t want to own a car anymore as you will call a car with your phone, it will show up at your location and drive you to your destination.

12- You will not need to park it, you will pay only for the driven distance and you can be productive while driving. The very young children of today will never get a driver's license and will never own a car.

13- This will change our cities because we will need 90-95% fewer cars. We can transform former parking spaces into green parks.

14- About 1.2 million people die each year in car accidents worldwide including distracted or drunk driving. We now have one accident every 60,000 miles; with autonomous driving that will drop to 1 accident in 6 million miles, That will save a million lives plus worldwide each year

15- Most traditional car companies will doubtless become bankrupt. They will try the evolutionary approach and just build a better car, while tech companies (Tesla, Apple, Google) will do the revolutionary approach and build a computer on wheels.

16- Look at what Volvo is doing right now; no more internal combustion engines in their vehicles starting this year with the 2019 models, using all-electric or hybrid only, with the intent of phasing out hybrid models.

17- Many engineers from Volkswagen and Audi are completely terrified of Tesla and they should be. Look at all the companies offering all-electric vehicles. That was unheard of, only a few years ago.

18- Insurance companies will have massive trouble because, without accidents, the costs will become cheaper. Their car insurance business model will disappear.

19- Electric cars will become mainstream about 2030. Cities will be less noisy because all new cars will run on electricity.

20- Cities will have much cleaner air as well.

21- Electricity will become incredibly cheap and clean.

You do understand that most of our electricity comes from burning fossil fuels don’t you? Well, probably not!

Partially correct answer but not completely correct - also deceptive.

The United States uses many different energy sources and technologies to generate electricity. The sources and technologies have changed over time and some are used more than others.

The three major categories of energy for electricity generation are fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and petroleum), nuclear energy, and renewable energy sources. Most electricity is generated with steam turbines using fossil fuels, nuclear, biomass, geothermal, and solar thermal energy. Other major electricity generation technologies include gas turbines, hydro turbines, wind turbines, and solar photovoltaics.

Hope that clears things up for you before you spread and more partially correct answers.

This is Sparkler's specialty - partially correct answers - like the one Facebook had to edit from the Trump campaign - designed to confuse. :)

I was completely and totally correct. You’re the one who spreads misinformation or partially true information. Case closed!:rolleyes:
