Oh, I'm involved in recruiting and interviewing and if you were really in the know, you would know we have already conducted panel interviews. And you can bet I turned up the heat on the Otezla crowd.

First panel interviews are happening for managers the next two weeks. No one has been hired. Regarding salary there is range I wouldn’t listen to done if those posts. New hire hiv got $15,000 value of RSU’s. Hr and the hiring manager should. Be able to tell you. Recruiters are nit always accurate,, yes gilead will manage by metrics a few companies it doesn’t matter but here it is an important. Culture very different from Genentech some will be tough fit individual contributor vs team. RA is a big market and it will be a dog fight. Managed Care will be the driver since 4th JAK. Access is already tough. Don’t worry rep interviews haven’t happened. So who ever is saying that is incorrect. Good Luck if you are interested.

It’s going to take a lot more than your stupid old ass “metrics” to stay in this dogfight. That is the problem with Gilead you manage your reps like it is 2002. The beatings will continue until the morale improves....that’s why we took it to you in HCV. Your product won’t do dick and it’s much more than access....that is a big piece but only a piece.

no one cares if their product beats another one as long as they get paid. the great access will only last a couple of years until the 8 Humira biosimilars come out anyway.

wrong, we are using Humira now by giving a little piece of it to set Sky up in dermatology and Rin up in Rheumatology - by the time you get out, 3 year contracts will be tight and the spread any biosimilar can make will be too small to break contracts - sloppy seconds at best is all you get jr. leaguers

Not sure why you’re using the term “you”. They haven’t hired anyone. Even if you aren’t a troll, that’s not what your coworkers say about the contracting, nor is it logical,
Also, we know how much you make at AbbVie. They don’t pay sh**. My AbbVie reps have shared what they make. It’s pathetic. Hopefully your product’s success makes up for the lack of money that you make.

If everything is so amazing at AbbVie then why are you all over Gilead’s CF? Why should you even care... Worried much?

Interested to see how your comp package matches up to ours. If it's really a 130k top cap no one will be leaving from Abbvie, Amgen or Novartis. You might convince some Lilly guys.

Bottom line is that I have lots of rheumatology experience from my time at Genentech and I plan to crush Otezla reps in the interviews. You better have every KOL's personal number because I do and I'm going to check to see if they match.

We have a better side effect profile and we will crush Abbvie after we crush Otezla.

Hey Bra...fyi Otezla barely ever used in RA. Almost all of its use is in derm for PSO and in Rheum for PSA.

Trying to figure out why all the hate for Otezla reps?? We don't even sell in the RA space! If you are that threatened by an Otezla rep who doesn't even sell in your space, you have issues. However, Gilead is looking for good reps who can actually launch a drug, doesn't matter what space you are in. At the end of the day its all about relationships! And, as far as coverage, who cares about coverage because a good rep (Otezla rep) can sell even without formulary coverage! We did it for 3 yrs when we launched Otezla....need I say more???

15k rsu for new hire? Lol no thanks...I’ve got that last 2 years just with my raise. I thought Gilead paid well? With that type of package you won’t be getting anyone with biologic experience. Maybe from bone health.

Not true talked to recruiter yesterday. Can go north of 170k for right person...90k sign on and 2500 rsu that vest in 3 years. Generous stock purchase plan at 15% discount. Still hiring management...said reps early March phone screens.

Not sure.... stop inflating the numbers.. like I said they do not do number of stock units it’s an RSU value for that four years. Recruiter is fast talking... no reason to be transparent. I would clarify in your interview. Sign on bonus is if you are leaving a bonus behind and possible stock. That 90,000 sign is more than oncology got when they came. This product is 4th to market. Hmm salaries will be competitive. If you take 2,500 RSU’s times the stick price @70.. that would be 1750,00 value for a rep don’t buy..., it’s not a start up that is misinformation. Under old mgmt I got about 40,000 in stock five years ago Under new leadership it has gone down as well as raises.

Thanks for the information. This is more in line with what a friend of mine said that works there. True you can’t believe recruiters., they don’t always share the correct information. Not sure if I want to leave for the only product with nothing else in pipe line.

Recruiters are worse than used car sales people. They will say anything if it helps them!

Does anyone know what type of car they are offering? With the salary, sign on and RSU that seems to be the final piece of the puzzle IMO

STFU already. You are overpaid and you complain about everything. Good luck having it as good as you've had it.

All anyone knows is based off of rumors. The rheum reps at Novartis keep hearing $170k base and around $50k sign on bonus. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the max, as it’s about the max there, too. The thing is that it is WAY above the average.
