So I’ve heard many good things from old colleagues here about her time spent at BMS, but I must say I’m not seeing it...

I found her very inauthentic and her interest in subordinates fake, and was never moved by any of her speeches. Other than that she has done well for herself and seems to have really worked hard at improving her weaknesses. Always hard to get buy in from an inauthentic leader.

She is no longer at “Be A Mess”, so you can stop your analyses now

She is a terrible leader and a scumbag. She is the part of the reason that Bristol Myers has struggled so much. She is vindictive retaliatory and micro managerial... Completely contradictory to all the current trends in business organizational behavior. I have no idea how she got to the level that she got to because she was the head of marketing for a drug called Emsam in 2008, which completely tanked and then they promoted her to vice president of the whole neuroscience division which experienced its first period of negative/stagnant growth under her in 2010 (plus a wave of pips served across the nation). I have a very specific incidents where someone opposed her ideas and their careers were ruined, but I’m not going to bore you with that. She’s just toxic and the reason the company is not viewed as a good place to go to anymore.

It’s funny, I’ve heard once you get to know her, and you become part of her inner circle, there is no one better to work for.

Mercier was also the one who implemented worthless call notes again....as a result, tons of hours of wasted time was created when everyone had to write lies and bullshit....

Call notes......a real one would say “it’s not my scheduled lunch delivery day, so I sat in the parking lot and made up a story to write down for my call note.”

No that was actually Murdo who did that but she perpetuated it. I have no idea how she got to the level she did in the company because there was nothing ever innovative about her. False opportunist of affirmative action female leader crap.

I used to like watching her briefing videos when she swung her legs in the air with great drama

She loves to talk about herself. Self-importance stuff. Just ask Johanna about herself and listen. She’s got Daddy-type issues.
