Dr Murray Arlin, the Doctor who supplied the above X Rays to Implant Direct, is a doctor who is on the payroll as a "speaker" for several implant companies, including, Southern Implants, which was based in Toronto. Coincidentally, the same city where this whore dentist is located. Arlin shares a very close relationship with the owner of Southern Implants, Mike Kehoe, as well as Kehoe's right hand man, Steve Wright, who coincidentally, also lives in Toronto. Southern Implants makes a clone of the Nobel Implant, with their own surface. So, it would obviously be in Southern Implants best interest to debunk and deride Nobel Biocare's implant surface. This is exactly what you are seeing here. A competitor of Nobel using a paid whore to make an issue out of something that is not an issue, in an attempt to sell more of their own implants. Note, that Arlin blames the surface, not the design of the Nobel implant as problematic. Both Southern Implants and Implant Direct, make a copy cat of the Nobel implant, but with their own surface, which, according to them are both superior to the Nobel Ti-Unite surface.

The xrays in these cases tell the story, and it is a very long book.

One set of X rays does not tell much of a story. A complete patient history clinical details and seeing the same bone loss over multiple patients of mutliple doctors would be more convincing.
If a company sells millions of anything a small percentage say 1%, represents a large absolute number. But as a percentage does not really represent much. This is what we are seeing here.

Let's clarify a couple things--Nobel absolutely has well-known problems with their Ti-Unite surface in protecting bone compared to some of the other leading surfaces. This leads to the second point: note I said LEADING surfaces. It's a stategy of two-bit outfits like Southern or Implant Direct to stir the pot, because that is all they are capable of. It's not like they are in the on-deck circle in the minds of the specialist when they make a jump from Nobel, so they have to throw stones while blindfolded, and hope that someone cares.
That's the strategy of knockoffs. You're not a leader of anything when you strive to have "compatible" (copies) connections. You're a follower.

This reply is ridiculous. The reports of periimplantitis in Sweden have been out for years. Unbelievable. Nice try Mr Nobel rep, but you guys are having serious problems.

I would like a serious answer to my question. I had the Nobel implants about 7 years ago and am now having to have them removed due to failing implants from excessive bone loss as well as the fact that they harbor bacteria and are not sealed properly. My tissue loss is extreme due to the bone loss. What is my best avenue for receiving help with the huge dental bill I am about to have to pay, as well as the pain and suffering I have experienced for the past 7 years. I have had several surgeries to try to correct this problem. It all stems from these implants. Please offer advice.

If a carpenter remodeled your house and the work he did failed would you think about sueing the company that made the nails or would you sue the carpenter that did the work?
