If you attended the 3-4 day training for new Insomnia hires what was that like? Testing? Product related? Thank you so much!

No reps are a direct hire from Eisai.

sounds like the same person on here already calling for layoffs in 6 months. Very well educated.

Yep, realignment in 6 to 8 months. Bank it.

Lack of a comma in this sentence could make all the difference.

Sorry! The reps are not contracted out and are all hired on as Eisai employees.

So... why’d you want the job so bad then? Same reason everyone that got one over you did, income for a while, launch experience, good culture. If/when a realign happens, it happens. Happening at every company, get out of the industry altogether if you don’t like it.

Good culture? You are a total beginner. What makes you think there is good culture and what does that mean? Did your hiring manager tell you that? This a sure sign of doom when you are sold on culture. Launch experience? This is laughable. Let us know how the culture is working for you when you don't hit the quota and you won't.

It was your standard typical training. Not inspirational, drab, role plays, etc.

There is no role play. You get your equipment and training compliance.

Everyone should have read the studies before they accepted the position. It does not matter how good the drug is, insurance won't pay for it the first year or so. This product is nothing special, another sleep drug in a an overcrowded market. Keep job hunting.

I agree. The benefits of moving on to this company at the time outweighed the underwhelming nature of this drug. Anyone who has been in this industry long enough would have been able to see that this launch will be rocky to say the least. Especially for the above reasons. Due to issues at my former company, I reluctantly agreed to take Eisai’s offer. Just being honest. I have some serious concerns about how much my drs will actually write. Get ready folks it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

The training was a comprehensive overview of Benefits, Computer training, policies, compliance, ethics, diversity sensitivity, group activities, home study training guide brief product update, getting to know all the players in the different home office departments. Overall, the people are super nice, embracing and want the best for us out in the field. All meals together so you won't have any free time to have any dinners on your own. Nice hotel across the way from the home office. Nothing to stress about. Great opportunity to meet your fellow colleagues and I can generally say the people I met were super cool. Good luck to you in your training!

someone answering who doesn’t even work here. Shows you how much you can trust any info you read. “Role plays”, haha.
