It is not courage to say something like this to management or HR as result will likely be a cardboard box and goodbye - for the complainer - we all know how the company operates - be real
Try having a professional conversation with your manager. Have a clear understanding of each rating and do those things in a satisfactory fashion. When rated low, challenge them by proving that you did what was expected. Pretty simple. Usually low ratings are due to a lack of mutual understanding of the expectations, or you just arent doing those things as expected, resulting in an objectively placed low score.
If you're waiting to the end of the year to have a mutual understanding of expectations, you've waited too long. But at the same time, low ratings are can also be a result of poor performance. Can't always be the managers fault.
Be advised, they are not so anonymous. If a manager has to get 5 responses they get to read the comments. they would have an idea who said what They would see your title They could ask the others with same title if they responded and they would pretty much know who said what
Sounds like bad management style to break down trust. No one will ever respond to them in the future.
As a former RM I never bullied any TBM or RSS. And, frankly, I was never asked to do anything unethical during my 5 years. I saw plenty of questionable behavior. My biggest question when we met to do the Talent Assessment meetings (where what is a Meets is determined and all the reps in BSS were ranked on a four grid matrix from High Potential to "manage them up or out"). I did become aware of team members that were newsy. That's everywhere. Had to let go reps because of RIFs, one of these was in the Top 10 in stacked rankings. Another kept wrecking their car and forgetting to remove their handgun (twice), was able to inyervene on the first; nothing I could do on the second. Loved getting these two calls from Wheels. One TBM, then RSS, them TBM never left her house. I know because I staked-out her house. I left before she was terminated. Another continually asked me to follow them when we did a field ride. Had to explain the intent of a field ride was to observe, discuss the State of their territory, address any problems within the territory, meet with key Flo or Tiss users, and the travel time between calls was critical for me to ask for and provide feedback. Had to send thius rep home to remove car seats, beach towels, and trash from their company car, plus instructed them to re-fill their CO2 tank used for Tisseel demos. Some were just not very smart; this excluded those I hired; they have all moved on. Too many other stories about misogynistic, sexist, chauvanistic, back-stabb8ng, liars, and hook-ups; especially at BTCs. I met CC when he came inside in Deerfield. I had a neutral opinion of him, but I didn't have any interaction with him. So much negative commentary of CF, if half of it is true how is he still around?
You have that quite a lot of thought. Could have been some if those actions that drives the micro-management
