That is the message to all employees today. Sun and Taro have no plan whatsoever. That means if a tornado ripped through Princeton and Hawthorne, and other sites, we must continue to show up to work.

    What a garbage company.

I left Sun last year because they do not support their employees at all.
They have a "if you don't like it, then leave" attitude. So I did leave.

The policy at my new workplace is geared towards paying the employees who are sick and to protect the ones who aren't.
We can work from home and get paid if we suspect we have the flu.
If we do have the flu or if we are even in proximity to someone who has it, we can go on a paid leave.
If a family member has it, we can go on a family leave to care for him/her.

These are just normal policies that all companies should have during this pandemic.
You people who remained should really be pushing back for this policy.
    Where is the leadership?
I know some Sun people are in Hawthorne where the surrounding cities in NY have dozens of cases.

It’s a fucking disaster in Hawthorne. Nobody gives a shit anymore. We are all going to get fired anyway or possibly die from the pandemic.
