agreed. This situation is unprecedented. BI is doing the right thing.

It seems surreal since we are not seeing it yet. But I also cannot imagine an entire country (Italy) required to stay home. It’s a great time to be on house arrest I guess lol!!

Well the implication of this whole work from home thing is that management will realize just how efficient and effective (to some degree) the company can be with a salesforce that is operating remotely and could inform decisions on the next round of layoffs....but I understand that doing this was the right thing to do given the extraordinary situation going on.

Oh yea..we are definitely a part of an experiment with the powers that be.. they will be watching the bottom line sans feet on the street. BTW have you all noticed how much interactions are being done with sample remote with phone calls and presentations on your key accounts...???? They're doing as many calls on those folks as US..EYE OPENING....

Did you notice how TS reference virtual presentations as an experiment. Was there a sect (samples direct? IDK) performing this obligation? Actually under our noses.

No. A small group of your field colleagues were supposed to be working out the quirks over the next few months. Now the whole salesforce will be doing that starting next week. Good luck.

Marketing is crazy, no HCP will have a video conference with us. But let’s waste tons of money to find this out.

I might have one actually who would, but that's not going to cut it. At this time things are going to be so weird for them that there is absolutely no way they are going to do it. I wonder how the remote reps account for "interactions"

I appreciate you coming back and giving credit to BI.

Really. Come on people. The remote reps are talking to the office staff, Not I repeat Not the docs. Do you not talk to the whole office, they will tell you. In many instances I have received complaints that they want to send samples when the staff say no. They come back with they will call next week to make sure. LOl.

So fucking true....do you expect an overworked, underpaid MA/RN/Tech to skype/phone with you ? Do you think an MD will let his/her staff stop everything and talk to us?

Agreed, it’s a ridiculous concept. To make matters worse, they want to roll it out when offices are dealing with Coronavirus issues?!?! They will be twice as busy and all we will do is piss them off.

How long do you think this “work remotely” will last. After the good press of “doing the right thing” is over and after a few weeks sitting at home sending emails??? Come on. Seriously think their going to continue paying everyone to do nothing? Wake up.

I agree with it being a ridiculous concept however I will somewhat disagree with you on the timing of this. Offices will actually be mostly empty with plenty of patients cancelling appointments and offices having strict protocols not to let potentially sick/symptomatic patients go to the office but instead direct them to hospitals/urgent care if they meet basic screening criteria for potential COVID-19 infection.

Yes we talk to the staff all the time and YES we know that you are calling in and checking up, which really EFF's up my connections is so many ways, more then I want to get into on this board.
