There is ZERO reason for reps to go into physician offices right now. Step up and do the right thing!

agreed Reps should be out of the field WITHOUT pay.
    Temporary layoff

Termporary layoffs with or without pay would be better than pharma companies telling their reps to increase frequency of calls on offices that haven't explicitly banned them yet.

I heard Lilly has a temp layoff of reps- they have to take FML or vacation until end of May.

I would tend to disagree though. This is time where we can really separate ourselves. If you can add value to an office in times of a pandemic think about how you will be viewed once this is all over! Think about it- we do what we do for patients. Some of you probably do it for bonus- but most of us care about patients outcomes. And I've found once you do that you tend to get back 10 fold! Call me naive but I know that I help Dr.'s not just diagnose the right patient for my drug but get them on the right drug. It isn't always mine- that is why they look to me for answers. Dr.'s today have so many things to deal with in the office and let's face it at home. Its a complicated situation and that is where a good rep helps.

In the coming weeks the US health system is going to be stressed to the max. Providers will end up getting sick- some will die- leaving the ones that aren't sick to work double or triple time to keep up. I can definitely see us stepping up and helping in SELECT clinics- not everyone will let us- but plenty will. Especially if you have recovered from Covid-19 which means you likely can't get it again. I've been in multiple disease states and thus are an expert in multiple diseases- a hospital system will want the help. And once its all over those that helped will reap the benefits. Just something to consider- something I told my team. If you feel comfortable- take this time to really shine! Keep smiling and keep shining you are all very good at what you do.

Wow, we have Florence Nightingale amongst us, you are the cure for everything and anything and will lead us to the post Covid era.

Wow, now tell us on Cinco de Mayo, how your helping as 'we' re-forecast the Covid-19 mortality for the sake of the economy? Your a "team leader" of who? Where?

What credentials do you possess to warrant being an unemployed, no risk, part of the medical team? What real commitment to medicine do you possess? Where do you stand, literally, these days as essential workers like our loved ones are in fact, on the front lines every day for twelve hour shifts?

I appreciate what your trying to say, but staying away would be more helpful as you work for a bottom-line drug oligarch. Never forget your god. An it ain't the patients God.

Let's talk about "essential workers" for a minute. Would you consider a McDonald's drive thru worker an essential worker doing greater good for mankind during this dire time?

Wow. So you consider yourself an “expert“ because you’ve been “in” multiple disease states and completed your module trainings in three days and your POA mini detail certifications. When are your office hours Doctor Delusional?
