I don't know if I am the only one that feels this way but I am throwing it out there. We always knew that this contract would end at the end of flu season. That is undisputed. But, what we didn't know is that we would be in the middle of a pandemic, all losing our jobs in a collapsed job market with hiring freezes in place. Does anyone else feel a bit slighted? Tele-sales to a minimum of 14 pharmacies and offices that are inundated having to filter through new corporate policies and guidance from the CDC everyday, while other companies are concerned with the safety of their employees AND their customers. Throw us a bone Ashfield/Genentech. Tell us sooner rather than later if we have a job for next season. Many of us will not be able to file for unemployment. Or better yet, as a good faith gesture, pay us out at a full 100% bonus knowing that there will be over 400 of us with no income and no job opportunities. Many of us worked very hard this season with a lack of managed care access, lack of stocking, and a great drug missing one key indication. I am not screaming sour grapes but a lot of us have been in this industry a very long time and never have I felt this undervalued.
