Well, hope you enjoyed your short ride of growth. Now that Testosterone is available in a pill that is well tolerated (Jatenzo), you can forget about it.

Xyosted was a complete waste of time for me. After 4 years on Test Cyp I tried a month each of 75mg weekly and 100 mg weekly. In both cases my T levels were half of where they were on Test Cyp, and only 5% about where they were when I started treatment. Back on Test Cyp today thankfully.

Most interactions will now be from home. The casinos closed and they only offer online gaming. Food is being delivered home and Amazon is experiencing surging demand and are hiring 100,000 new employees.

This is the future. The great majority of the TRT market is currently administered twice a month during a doctor office visit with the IM formulation. Patients would rather self inject sub q at home without putting themselves and others at risk for the Corona virus.

Patients and doctors are ready for this! Whether in office rep to doctor and staff contact or via other forms of virtual interaction Antares should be very aggressive in this fashion. Everyone wins.

Besides the best PK profile of any TRT therapy now it is the most timely of agents for every patient and their needs.

Can't get in doctors offices but calling them to let them know that Xyosted is available for patient home use. Patients aren't coming in for their bi-weekly testosterone shots.

Low T patients will definitely not be visiting doctors offices for regular shots. Many of these patients probably have other medical conditions that put them a high complication risk for the virus.

Is there an equivalent dose of Xyosted for patients currently taking the IM TRT formulation? Can doctors call in a prescription for home delivery of Sub Q Xyosted at a specific dose without further blood work? This would helps those IM users that can't get their regular shots in office.

I'm a pharma rep. I promote thyroid medication to endocrinologists.

After 6 years on testopel I just switched to Xyosted. I picked up my first box of 4 injectors yesterday. Injection was a breeze except that I have very low body fat so pulling up enough skin from the abdominal muscle was a bit of chore. The guy in their instructional video on their website has a rather large 3" pinch of fat to work with. ..I have less than 1/2". Not trying to body-shame the guy in the video or brag - just what it is.

I decided to switch b/c I grew tired of the long period of troughing I had to endure before my next implants. And then it would take about 2 weeks after dosing to feel better. In short, I would feel good for maybe 60 of the 90 days b/w doses. I'm 55, very active and very fit. ..Idiopathic low T. I was getting 10 pellets every 90 days - usually to the day, as I couldn't wait even another day.

My doc (an excellent, and conservative urologist) actually knows one of the Xyosted developers. We've been been discussing the product for over a year. ..Waiting to see the data at launch and see if any post marketing AE's cropped up. Finally, he agreed to let me switch. We'll be watching my hematocrit closely. ..I tended to track b/w 46-49.

Coverage from Aetna was a breeze. ..I'm sure these are cheaper to a payer than Testopel implants.

I'll report back on how I'm doing. I'm not looking to feel like I'm 25 again; I just want to feel like the very healthy 55 year-old I work hard at being.

I’ve never seen so many bullshit posts on one thread in 16 yrs of looking at CP. Obviously a marketing or management hack, who are you trying to sell here? This is not a portal to patients or even prescribers. Your drug is overpriced and under covered. And you’re about to be unemployed.

My post certainly wasn't BS. ..How is it overpriced and under-covered? Aetna covers it with a $60 copay, and the Xyosted Savings card paid the rest - $0 copay. So far so good. ..So long as my hematocrit does not rise above 51 I should be good. Technically, 52-54 is the point at which reducing therapy is recommended, but I'm conservative even though I excellent cardiology profile (0 calcium score, low ldl, BP, etc..) I've injected four times now. Easy and painless

What don't you like about it?? ..A weekly SubQ self-injection makes perfect sense. Your issue is what exactly?

If you read more of the thread, you would see what I’m talking about. I wasn’t referring to your post which sounds genuine.

This is an example of a bs management cheerleader post. Never any specifics until the day they call you to tell you the jig is up. And you think I’m the idiot?

Honestly coverage is an issue my father is on IM cyp tried to switch denied appeal was a nightmare ended up staying on IM
It’s cheap and easy and it works
I have a hard time arguing when my docs tell me it’s not covered

Some plans may need a pre-authorization for a prescription. According to the company nationally 72% of plans will cover Xyosted. Sorry that you're having access problems for your dad.
