Rumor has it that all reps will be furloughed without pay by end of May if we can't return to the field. Debate is going on as to whether to provide benefits. But it looks like all will be eventually laid off.

Stop spreading fake news. Whoever posted this is trying to create more fear. You’re an idiot. How would you know?

If this is true why are they hiring for open spots? Interviews via zoom this week

It’s not true. The person spreading fake news doesn’t even work at Aerie.

No one is going to the eye doctor while this is going on. They are busy trying to not get sick and many are on reduced income now.

Can this company withstand such a huge drop in revenue? That is the question

What is a source of the “rumor”?

Not true... probably Evan starting the rumor to take the attention off the post that is littered with facts about him and his ghost hire promotion...

What if the existing anti-virals cannot be repurposed for corona?

a vaccine is 12-18 months away.

    what if the vaccine fails?

the common cold is a coronavirus. There is no vaccine for the cold because acquired immunity against it does not last long enough to be of use the next time a person is exposed to it.

I would think the company will have to do something to cut cost at some point. Sales are not at the spend level or even close.
Keep in mind odds are we will have to raise more money to make it. And will dilute the stock price more.
And we will see a big dip in cash flow due to this virus selling stop. which is much needed by the company.
Think about it when patients do start going back to the doctor will they lean more to the generic because they have not worked in a while? It is a good time to sell mail order so you can stay at home and get your meds delivered and avoid sick people. Will PA's be more challenging after all the plan lose big $ due to virus treatment?
The dominoes are going to start falling of all the glaucoma meds Alcon and Allergan have going generic....then you have 3 branded PA intense meds vs. all the cheap established meds. Each year will be harder than the last due to new treatments and generic. I bet the board sees that coming.

This is all a guess this company does some let's say unique things.

Interesting news. They won’t pay people to stay home. Most companies are also on a hiring freeze due to Corona.
Looks like they canned one rep in Florida. Sadly enough there other rep Jonathan who seems to be leaving internal documents all over offices on how to get prior authorizations through hasn’t been fired yet. Compliance has all that info. What person attaches a business card to homemade articles and leaves it in offices?

Here we go again with another BS claim about the FL reps just to start more drama. I know it hurts when your Vyzulta market share is in the dumps week after week. I would stop leaving so many samples all over the place and maybe you will get some business.
You always bring up speciality pharmacies like we have some secret partnership with them.... oh wait that was your company. If you forgot what happened to Philidor/ Valaent then I suggest watching Dirty Money on Netflix.

Lol is right. You don’t know shit. The company you’re at will most likely lay you off. Bigger they are the harder they fall.
