Just wait, I would suggest getting hair extensions, less chance of getting caught

I am prescribed 4 10mg hydrocodone a day and have zero impairment. My doc also prescribed Xanax do deal with the constant stress and pressure of annual layoffs.
Didn’t have to pass a drug screen with those though.
    But definitely doesn’t impair me

No one uses hair tests and they absolutely do not detect drug use from years ago.

    OP here

I passed my urine screen. So here’s how it went down. I went to the designated lab and completed my urine screen. I was never asked to list my current medications.
Since I’m on pain and sleep meds I was worried. But then I received a phone call and was notified that I tested positive and then was asked if I could verify a prescription which I did.

That’s it, game over. No problem.

i received a call about a positive amphetamine drug screen for pre-employment due to Vyvanse prescribed for adhd. I just submitted a letter from my doctor stating that it is prescribed to me for adhd and that I am safe to drive on it (that was their other question) I just want to see if others have had this come up due to adhd meds? I just started taking them, as I was recently diagnosed as an adult. Worried this could prevent me from being hired either due to the fact that it’s an amphetamine or that they’re worried about driving? It’s not sedating so not sure why the label says “Can impair ability to drive or operate heavy machinery”

You got a call from the testing facility correct? Standard procedure. If documented and legal you are fine, including in the future.

Sometimes novacaine will throw a positive for cocaine. So they will call to make sure you didn’t have, say a tooth pulled the day before or something like that.

    They absolutely do.

If you are on a pain med 3 times a day you will not be cleared to drive which will disqualify you from the job. The liability is too great when there are many other candidates with top qualifications. Allergan will not go to bat to hire you, they will pass.
