So, any big-wigs peruse this site?

With Tesla and other automakers converting factory space to ventilator production, what are we going to do about it? Right now in Warsaw I can badge into either of our legacy B or Z institutes and find boxes of the surgical masks, face shields, gowns, etc. that hospitals popping up across Indiana need right now (https://getusppe.org/).

Step up to the plate, Bryan - surely the cadaver labs can wait.

I was thinking about the same thing as I fell asleep last night. Same across the industry - anyone with cadaver labs or mobile cadaver labs could help. Lots of PPE, masks, etc. out there in our industry.

I'm not in Warsaw, but if true, Amen.

All, two relevant points. First, the PPE used for orthopedics is not the same as the PPE that they talk bout on the news. The PPE in these cadaver labs is tested for blood splatter and bone chips, not viral protection. Second, the vast majority of ZB PPE was donated weeks ago, with hopes it would be used in areas where the viral rated masks are usually used, this freeing up the PPE desperately needed.

You will not find excessive quantities of any of the items you listed above in Warsaw.
Much of these items were donated to hospitals two weeks ago. The reminder is for staff handling of specimen, which is still ongoing.
