Should the Vegas meeting be canceled since it is non essential? Pfizer is doing it from home.

new WarnerMedia/CNN /AT&T memo told employees to “limit all forms of travel as much as possible,” that trips and internal meetings should happen via phone or videoconference.

What is BMS Medical seeing differently that other large companies who are cancelling sales travel meetings? Including Workday who cancelled their conference in Orlando which has less risk potential than Las Vegas??

If you have a point, it resonates much better with the audience when you state facts. Saying that Giovanni originally planned on going to Las Vegas was NOT a fact.

Uhhhhh that wasn’t Rita.... That was above Adam. Rita and Adam didn’t want to lose $5 M on the meeting.

    I believe it.

And what CEO addresses their employees at a National Meeting over Skype at such a time as this? That would be a chickensh8t thing to do when you fly on a corporate private jet.

I feel bad for the DBM/reps that have been planning for months to continue their affairs! The novelty shops will be devastated by all the returns coming in.

Is this just a normal thing for BMS? It’s too bad they have to go home to their spouses and children...

That would have been a great concert. I was there one time and this band played 25 or 6 to 4. I can’t remember who sang the song though!

Well, flew to Vegas a day early due to no early morning flight options. Got to the hotel and found out I’m stranded overnight. UnFcking believable!

now I gotta enter the 14-day Quarantine protocol Because of all the Chinese nationals here to see the UFC women fighter from WuHan China this weekend.

    I’m gonna die out here.

Anyone see Dr David Shepperle in a building yet?

Once finance figures how much was saved by cancelling the Vegas meeting and what little effect these things have in top line revenue growth, BMS may never make employees travel to these things again
