Not only will people not be looking for eye botox, targeted Opthomologists will be looking to make up lost income on their postponed elective surgeries. They are not plastic surgeons and most likely would rather help patients with a permanent solution to drooping eyelids. Patients still need a script for this temporary daily fix. Medical Doctors have not bought in yet and large conferences to present are all cancelled leading up to the "launch"
This product and company is not something you want to put in the hands of your families livelihood.
Its on life support.

no doubt it was HR. They think they are sooo smart. They are trash and we unfortunately know all of their secrets and propaganda.

 

you have to understand who we are dealing with here. Not the sharpest or the brightest. You may need to spell it out a little more for HR.

mostly everyone lol. I’ve called across the country all across districts and asked other reps I know who are still here. Even DMs are. There will be no one left for RVL but...Osmotica doesn’t care because they will partner with an ophthalmologic pharma company anyway and leave us reps behind hence lay-off #4?

 

Most people are looking. The way they promised us that we would launch the drug and now lied and cut us off at the pass...shame on you Donlon. You the one that knew all along we are sure. You lied and frankly when you speak you don't say much anyway. You came over from women's health which is a joke sell. You knew NOTHING about neuro and it showed at meetings.
I am gone but a few friends are left. They are dying to get out and looking. DMs too! You do not know how to build culture. You dont care about people. But ya are a big people pleaser. Kiss ass. Adios!

 

Unfortunately true. If there was ever any doubt about where the leaders were taking this company, last weeks layoff of 48 salespeople made it clear.
It was way too large a RIF not to have been planned in advance. And it was the second one in less than a year.The salesforce is the OSM cash account.

I was laid off, but after realizing I was getting 3 months severance I then was very excited. I was already looking to leave, not actively, but I knew something was coming down the line like this. Osmotica has never been a cream of the crop pharma company and they know it. They’ve been struggling. They weren’t paying me a competitive salary by any means so this was a blessing. Now, I am confident I will get a 20k pay raise with a new neuro position as there are many many pharma companies hiring right now which I know is in contrast to what the person from corporate/hr said on here that “other pharma companies are laying off and that things happen, that everybody else is doing it and thata covid 19 is a situation” Actually, that is incorrect. There are tons of neuro positions open right now and interviewing so the best is yet to come! Good luck to everyone and God Bless.

 

Really happy for you! I think most people are leaving given the situation at this company and the complete lack of leadership and communication. Most of us in the field are putting on a face until be get the next job. My DM is even looking. Terrible here.

 

Yes, many Pharma companies hiring sales - no layoffs in essential health industry just businesses that were already failing. Everyone knows the next severance won't be as generous. Good luck all!
