PMR’s and GI Reps are getting paid to sit home and do nothing. Offices I’ve spoken with aren’t opening up until late summer/August, if then. Add to that, just to enter in office buildings will require masks, temperature checks, and just overall catching up on “moneymakers” like Colonoscopies. ISR Reps make sense strictly from a Business Perspective and have more experience in that area. Plus less salary. So we’re safe in the “New Normal” of Medical Sales. Nothing Personal. We’ll see who’s right pretty soon. Definitely before that PR announcement today for the call on May 6.

    LOL
    NOT GOING TO HAPPEN JOKER
YOU ARE THE MOST EXPENDABLE IN THE ENTIRE COMPANY
PROVIDER SUPPORT CAN DO WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF AND I HAVE OFFICES ALREADY OPEN AND NEVER CLOSED
TELEHEALTH WILL NOT TAKE OVER TOO COMPLICATED FOR OLDER PEOPLE AND THEY ACTUALLY LIKE TO GO SEE THEIR DOCTOR
    RIDICULOUS

Take a glance inside a grocery store or Costco or Walmart. You really think things will be back to normal anytime soon? There’s legitimate fear with people wearing masks and major anxiety. No way we’ll be back in the field anytime soon. Why? Because no offices will let us. The company realizes this with its PMR’s/GI Reps. Telehealth is the present and the future. This will be explained very soon.

Sorry, you're very wrong. New to this thread but if you think a bunch of college kids/people in their 20s in Madison, Wisconsin are going to have a higher success rate on the phone then raps that already have established relationships with offices then you're very, very wrong. ISRs can't even get past the front desk 70% of the time. Ask me how I know LOL

That decision isn’t up to you. The C-Suite in Systems won’t allow reps in for months if not 2021 until a CV-19 vaccine isn’t available. Think we will get paid to sit at home and do a job that can be done on telephone. If you were responsible for payroll, what would you do?

Oh, the job can absolutely be done on the telephone much, much better by people that have established relationships with the offices they're calling. Sorry, with everyone doing the same thing ISRs are ineffective and redundant.
