Senior Sales Leadership Sucks!

    From the SVP down, this organization is the worst company to work for. Depending on the day, strategy will change. We have no clue if the contract will be canceled or upheld. Every day is a different adventure and very frustrating. Leadership sucks.

    SVP of Cardio leads by intimidation and threats. President is afraid of SVP, so he looks the other way. Pathetic leadership from top to bottom. Great company, but leadership will ruin this company.

    We need the president to get some “balls” and make the appropriate changes. Otherwise we will sink.

    I sure wish I could get an honest assessment of this company and what its like to work here. I know people get frustrated/angry when certain things happen and then post on CP. All jobs in this industry have issues. When things are so bad with one company that you leave to join another one, you discover there's issues of a different kind. Seems like its nothing more than trade offs.

    Above replies is kitchassss. Everyone is an “idiot”. The most disrespectful, nasty mouthed manager I’ve ever seen. How this guy hasn’t been personally sued yet. It really is disgusting

    Just had contact with a recruiter for local opening and having a phone screen next week-hopefully. These posts are so old its hard to tell what the current culture is like. Can anyone give me a good read on what its like to work here lately? Has there been changes in leadership since this thread started? Is the money as good as they say? What are managers like? Big pharma mentality? Monthly ride alongs? Still a teleconference driven company? Sales goals attainable? Not much written on these subjects lately so maybe things have changed.

    The above answers are correct. Place is a shit show. More like weekly ride alongs. Upper management is completely disconnected and egotistical.

    I call BS dude. I love it here and have done very well financially. My manager is great, and not an over abundance of field visits. With the string of negatives you answered with, Im surprised you stay. Maybe it's time to find something that fits you better.

    Probably depends on the division you are in. SC side has monthly ride alongs. IC plan is crap. You have to brown nose the right people. Bunch of idiots in mngt and upper mgmt who dunno nothing.
