Just curious I recently left the industry after 15 years. What has the direction from corporate been? Obviously the playing field will change after this. Has it been discussed? I’m looking to get back in but I know the Drs. will have even more leverage to turn us away. Just curious your thoughts.

 

I believe the dynamics of the industry in general will change dramatically in the next year. I wouldn't be surprised if legislation is passed to limit reps access to providers via face-to-face contact. I predict that electronic means of communication will become the new standard. All that can be done without reps. Suggest you look at other career options with longer-term paths.

 

Well, if there industry wide layoffs due to COVID-19, which is catastrophic thinking, it is completely unrelated to what you were originally rambling on about - so it would not make you right.

But, yes, same applies. I don’t think anyone claimed to have “super Interviewing skills”. They’re just better than yours. So you’re really screwed.
