    Sup y’all

Welp I just wanted to see if someone would give me an honest opinion on selling y’all’s sleep med? I’m applying for an open position because it looks like a specialty position.

Also can can someone please share an honest pay range for 18 years of experience and a pretty decorated resume? Is $125k base realistic?

    TIA

125K is in the range. Probably the high end for bringing someone on board, but still possible.

The sleep franchise? Xyrem is a life changing drug. It is fun to sell. Lots of work pulling patients through, but rewarding and you feel a part of the team. Truly a specialty/complex sale. Soon we will be promoting a low sodium version (Q4?).

Sunosi is a retail product (not really specialty). It's only specialty in terms of the target audience (psych, pulm, etc.) It's a good product and the coverage is pretty good, but it is all about reach and frequency. Not a fun product to sell IMHO.

Several people I know came in at 125. Previous rare disease experience. If you’re capable of making 125 you won’t like it here. Xyrem is boring. Everyone is familiar with it and they have solid opinions. You’re basically begging for Rxs. You’re not going to educate anyone on the benefits of slightly enhanced GHB. Also, Sunosi is the devil. There’s nothing more degrading than selling it.

Has anyone been contacted regarding the new positions? If so, when were you contacted? If not, do you think they're waiting til after Thanksgiving to reach out to us?

I was contacted by the recruiter and scheduled for a zoom interview with the manager. Seems to be a very fast process with offers going out first of January, training (virtual) in February and in the field March. The process will consist of two interviews with management.

I was contacted. They asked me to show evidence that I have a pulse. Thankfully I have an Apple Watch and could show them on the zoom.

Just found out this job is to only sell Sunosi or Xyrem/Xywav. Does either product really need a dedicated person selling the med to the same limited neuro's?

    This is rare disease

The labeling for Sunosi does not qualify as rare disease per industry standards. It’s a primary care sell.
