What is going to happen to Portola with the stock market crash? Anyone have any insider info? Laying off reps? Hiring freeze? I know reps are being told not to go into the hospitals right now.

 

Why isn’t anyone else discussing RSL being demoted???

YES!!! In this pandemic it feels great to finally be financial strong and secure!!!

 

Great bargain buy by Alexion. Alexion will get rid of Portola's $2 aspirin reps with their own specialty neuro reps. So glad I passed before. This company had zero chance with RandySL and his sidekick Scottie flying Portola directly into the ground. Portola's biggest mistake was keeping these two clowns after botching both the Bevyxxa and Andexxa launches, and their repeat failures at other companies.

 

$18 a share acquisition makes my options worthless

 

Alexion doesn’t fire acquired employees. Working for most small biotechs is no longer worth the risk and there are way too many of them. All biotechs need help from larger well-financed and deep personnel companies to gain significant traction when they’ve developed life-changing non-rare disease meds. In the mass patient space they struggle desperately to get excellent expertise from anyone above the rep level and often can’t afford to complete the studies they truly need to penetrate the mass market. Due to this they put themselves at risk of at best multiple costly mistakes and missteps and at worst failure and devastating layoffs. Good job Portola and Alexion!!!! Now let’s move the market right!!!!

 

What happens to Randy St. Weinstein? Is he done harassing reps and retiring to quality time with the misses or is there another sucker waiting to hire the letch?
