WTF- I&I DMs have to conduct Virtual Role Plays w reps

I&I just throwing gas on the Exploding Tower.
My DM called me to set up VRP-- Virtual Role Play times????
First 3 in a Car &
3 on a Virtual Call
Now virtual dam role playing like we forgot how to sell after 15yrs of multiple Premier Awards.
Jeff & Beatrice have lost it in a Renvoq a$$ kicking panic or have ZERO clue.

Funny, maybe for primary care new hires 101 but for exp profitable specialty reps, this is insane. I d just tell DM hell no & have him call the VP if he wants someone to role play with.

Had my virtual role play w DM today
We focused on Openers, Features & Benefits of Xeljanz.
Rehearsed it 12 times each.
My DM was a Renvoq rep with 15% Nrx share.

This was a direct decision & insteuction by I&I VP Jeff Lotz . IDK if he was influenced by other divisional VPs or directed by the President who is from socialize medicine Europe.

Virtual role playing is elementary but not as bad as 3 in a VCC like he has instructed all RMs DMs to start doing!

 

I am in Oncology & have never heard of this elementary new hire rep 101 activity!
Reading this, I thought the post was another joke or made up. So I reached out to some DM friends in Rare Disease & IM & Xeljanz.
Rare Disease & IM are like Oncology-they never heard of direction Virtual Role play or even 3 on a VCC.
However 2 Xeljanz DMs in the East & North confirmed, they do have to conduct Virtual Role Plays with reps 1x a wk for 10min with each rep. (Said the goal was to virtural role play once a week w each rep )
Well, i was shocked. I guess Xeljanz is being run with new VP & newer DMs like Internal Medicine the 2 DMs said.
Sounds like Xeljanz is being run worse than IM.
Maybe a new Pres & VP is in order ?????

 

Most comical thing on ALL of cafe pharma all companies.
Only remote area this is approprate is new hires to a division. Not supposly skilled tenure specialty reps.
Sounds like Xeljanz has deep deep severe rooted issues with their hiring.
They should be Primary Care , or actuallu entry & IM should be a promotion from Xeljanz
