    How are we letting our incompetent management take us down this road? My sales are the worst they’ve ever been and all we do is sit on conference calls talking about this bullshit blood management crap. Meg, Chris, And Will needs to go. Conicelli has failed at every position in Baxter and I’m sick and tired of this loser and his 80’s haircut. Go back to pharma, conicelli.

    Like most things Adv Surgery does, it's played. Vital Edge is four years old now, the bleeding scale is a joke. (gauze, gauze??? really Willy??)
    VE def opened up conversations for many of us and hospitals were willing to listen, but all in all it is a self serving program (other than taking 10s to 5s where it does not hurt us, or just a little). Coming out of COVID, IDNs do not want to take on joke projects like VE. They need real, in hand savings. They will be/are scurrying to get REAL dollar savings in hand, not theoretical. Additionally, VE really does not eliminate anything (very rarely if at all), it is designed to reduce the amount of product you are using in your left hand and transition it to the right (where Flo sits). Great in theory to eliminate repetitive usage, but that does not eliminate the sku and as long as its on the shelf the staff will use it. Its just smoke and mirrors and an attempt to be seen as a company that is solving a critical blood mgt issue, when in all reality, there is not one. At least not one we can solve on any broad (to small) scale. This div is trying so desperately to be a consultive partner and get out of 'me to', (not, metoo) products, but at the end of the day, there is very little meat on the VE bone. Some have touted success, albeit short term, but look at those costs now. They have jumped back. If we are trying to be so innovative with such stellar programs like VE and Willy's bleeding scale, why cant we:
    A. Innovate ANYTHING original (product wise)???
    B: Buy something not 25 years old.... see Seprafilm
    C: Stop trying to say we are a leading hemostasis organization yet not even have one of the two most common hemostats on the planet?? We have thrombin, despite missing on it the first two times and yet we cant seem to develop the other leading hemostat in the world that JNJ has used on multiple product platforms for decades. I know we are not allowed to say the C word, but here goes. What happened to Celstat??? "We think oxidized cellulose is a thing of the past. New innovative tools like VE is the future. Speak of it no more, or you will be cast off. Backorders and VE, that's how we will turn a buck."

    Why? the last 3 months have been a breeze ( other than hearing the same blowhards constantly talking)
    with the adjusted new % to quota starting next month, it’s all good. It’s tough everywhere out there right now in device, why leave?
    However you did so eloquently address the 3 points made. Keep drinking the kool aide my friend. Anything he/she said not factual?

    I'm always amazed by the comments on this thread. I'll give you that CC is not the leader most of us would like but take him out of the equation since he doesn't do anything to harm you and doesn't come into any of your accounts. But be careful what you wish for because if he does get replaced or move on, someone new will surely micromanage you.
    And please stop with the passive aggressiveness in these threads. Bombastic threats about what they'd do or not do and the constant bitching about how bad they have it here. Frankly we do have great products. Yes, they are dated to a degree and yes, we all wish we had newer technology to sell. But we are the incumbent in most situations, at least in our region. Guaranteed most don't have all of the business in each of their hospitals so we have more work to do and we have a shitty competitor to go against. Fine, don't use VE. It's worked for us so maybe it's not the program that's the problem but how it's being presented.
    But look around! We have it pretty damn good and have been paid to sit at home for 3 months. So you had to listen to more WebEx's than you'd like but is that really that hard to do? Turn it on and turn down the volume.
    Just stop the incessant whining. We're adults and should have learned how to "manage your manager" by now. Stop waiting for someone to hand you everything. This is a job, we have to earn what we have each year. But if you're still unhappy, I implore you to speak up to someone that will help you do something. I like it here and hate to see people constantly complain about a job that they signed up for!

You hear about them and ignore. but after all everyone has been dealing with- hospitals have furloughed their people, cut pay and more than 22 million people lost their job! Thousands of people have died! and this dumbass complains about what? Getting paid to stay home and learn for the last 3 months?? clearly, you didn't learn shit. you sit on your ass and collect a check. it should be a welfare check. you could have spoken up to address your concerns and maybe learn a thing or two how to handle yourself. instead, you are talking to nobody. you are a joke and too chicken shit to speak up. do all those who bust their ass everyday a favor-- why dont you pack up your shit and leave. go collect that welfare check. you can and should be replaced with someone who will actually care about their job and the people around them. you should be replaced with someone who will actually do something that matters rather than bitch about nothing. the only smoke and mirrors is YOU.     With everything going on around us, isn’t it better if we just quit complaining? Others have a it a lot worse than we do. Be thankful for the job you have. So tired of constant whining. No one is forcing you to be here.

    When and where will the big reveal be? Been hearing that for years.

    As long as your not as obvious as the girl from SD who spent all day in the gym (still took them forever to figure that one out), you will be fine here to coast, do well, and stay well below the radar. They really have no clue on who is doing what. Many reps don't really work too much, but are the sole reason their territories are in great shape. They personally have the relationships that they cultivated, not Baxter.They could burn it down tomorrow if they were to leave for any reason.
