Bonus Needs to be Paid Out 100% Target

    I think you are going to see major cuts in reps in the upcoming months. Enjoy it while you have it as they will not think twice about cutting who they want, especially if you have several years and higher salary

    IM is giving 100% Target Bonus
    Other divisions are giving 40% 1st Q at target then 2nd quarter will be actual & adjusted down or up so many will have Bonus taken back 2nd Q if under 100%.....
    IM is doing the right thing paying 100% both Q and saying likely 3rd Q as well.
    I think the I&I division is the only one not doing a true 100% of Target payout.
    Anything is better than nothing & i am grateful given our situation, but when others in SAME co are getting 100% payout regardless, then that is not fair Internally.
    Whatever you pay, even if 10% just make it fair &uniform across the organization.
    That is all that I am saying.

    Other divisions might be paying 100% target first semester but I&I made decision to pay 100% Q1 on a 40% draw, then Q2 gross UP or DOWN based on your sales number so reps technically could pay back $$$$ Q2 they got from Q1.
    It is absurd that other divisions VP understand Q1 Q2 probably Q3 all going to be effected differently across the nation.
    Docs ramping & going all out w teleprograms will do better than those who are not.
    Terr that do not reopen or do not see reps vs others that might...... etc these are out of rep control.
    The divisions that made decision for 100% Target payout without exceptions KUDOS decision making by VPs.
    Xeljanz SUCKS with HQ leadership from Pres VP to Directors! Worse in my 25yrs with Pfizer (and I ve been in 8 divisions over my career & never seen poor decision making & just 1 way directional leadership driven by marketing than I have seen with I&I past year. )

    Liked It should be uniform & fare across Pfizer all divisions. Sounds like I&I with Xeljanz & Derm is a total $hithole Mess of leadership! The past year, I have heard nothing but pissed off reps who hate that division's leadership direction of RDs & the new Pres & VP direction & lack of strategy--just being reactive not proactive on anything. (That is perfect example of European management & people with no true leadership development or experience in sales being in charge of sales)

    I can speak directly to Oncology & Hem, they both are doing the right thing by the reps from total bonus 100% payout and will probably extend thru Q3. Premier Ranking Awards will likely be based 50% just Q4 and 50% TBOs for the year. So reps w most VCC & virtual programs should get higher TBOs.
    (The reps who actually set them up to did it, not countetparts who piggy back letting 1 rep do all the leg work)

    You want to be real? Ok let’s be real.

    If they wanted to lay us off months ago, they could have done it.

    If they want to lay us off tomorrow, they can do it.

    If they want top lay us off at the end of the year, nothing can stop them.

    We are always at risk. And if you keep posting every few weeks about how there will be layoffs, you will be right eventually.

    Nonsense common sense!
    Layoffs are coming zero doubt.
    Will be Q1 for tax purposes. 2020 losses w virus already booked so planned Q4 bloodbath in divisions like Xeljanz will be rolled to 21.

    Some divisions like oncology will not be affected. Some like Vaccine partially, others like womens health and I& I grossly over staffed will be drastically effected

    Highly suspect i&i will pay 100% target all year as they will not want to be an outlier from other Pfizer divisions doing the right thing.

    Think doing the right thing is paying your salary as well as medical benefits.
    Everything else is extra and gravy.

    True but if that is the decision, make it uniformed across all divisions of Pfizer.
    Not some divisions and others get leds .
    It needs to be same rules across the company to be fair.

    Can anyone here come up with a cogent rationale for retaining bonus and awards - other than they are a nice thing when the quota gods smile upon you? Should the charade stop and the money Be rolled into base salary?

    For the most honest & fair divisions in Pfizer (all but I&I), reps will get 100% Target 1st Semester.
    2nd Semester will be ranked base bonus & likely a 1 Semester Premier Ranking.

    Not true. There will be a goal attainment bonus for semester 1 in IM. Not everyone is getting 100%.

    You make a good point. There is very little difference in the payout range.
