Place was a complete shit show to begin with before they merged. Having ex Salix just added to the complete mess. Salix folks think they are "hospital reps" which they are clueless about- on top of that antibiotic market is really tough which is why almost no small company makes it. Feel bad for all the people losing jobs- but to be honest the talent level pretty low there and only a fucking idiot would have been sticking around when all the signs pointed to the company failing.
Not true. The merger took place. JT accepted an enormous payout as part of the deal and stepped down. He orchestrated the entire thing. And now he is President and CEO at another startup.
Not true. He was paid out but was surprised when he was told he was out. John is a decent guy but also heard he is on the outs with 9 Meters Biopharma after just taking over. Rubbing some people the wrong way.
