    Oh you lying sacks of refuse. Akebia is not doomed we are not inferior to other stuff people already use. Let’s get real. Is working at Akebia worse than working at the Post Office ? No ! It’s non-inferior. Is working at Akebia worse than working at Mary Kay Cosmetics ? No ! It’s non-inferior.

    This used to be a great place to work. Over the past 6-8 months, it turned into our biggest nightmare - big pharma. The company has become completely tone deaf. I have several friends in the industry and when I tell them about our growth expectations during COVID-19 they are in shock. Several areas of the country are still shut down but we are still expected to grow up to 30%. Several people's lives have changed dramatically over the past few months and Akebia does nothing to acknowledge that because hitting the number is the only thing that is important. We are overrun with marketing and metrics. They talk about the leadership team and their privileged lifestyles (gourmet meals, lake houses and landscapers) while we are on the front lines hearing stories of lost patients or sick staff members due to the virus. While you are in your lake houses debating over beef wellington, I'm strapping on the cheap mask from China that you gave me trying to hit my number because if I don't I'll be out of a job. F your bs town hall meetings as this does not apply to those of us in the field. It is unfortunate to see how a few people can ruin what was once a great place to work. - Field Sales Team

    I was told if I didn’t grow during Covid Q2 & Q3 because my last two quarters were flat, I would be put on a PIP.

    message at the top = be a part of the journey

    message from senior sales management = shut the F up & make it happen in two quarters or you’re done.

    We are losing good people. They are not posting openings. Something tells me they want to thin the herd big time & hire more RDs cheap who produce then spit them out when they have churned the sales.

    Haven’t heard the “we take care of our people” in a long ass time. Getting out before Q3 Pippy Christmas
