    Debt on mortgage 250k (loan at 3% so why bother paying it down)
    One still in college - no debt, pay cash.

    59. 300k in mine 400k spouse. Trying to catch up and cash out but it’s very stressful with no pensions

    50. Total wealth about 1.7 in 401,IRA, Houses, Land. In the business 20 yrs. Wish I got in sooner.

    Do you have a pension? If not, you probably don't have enough to retire at 60. A 4% SWR of 1 million only gives you about $40k/yr.

    If I stay in CA I will have to work longer. If I live elsewhere I can perhaps retire at 55ish
    Single, no kids

    Even if you related to a lower cost of living area, have you taken into consideration a 4% SWR? Will that throw off enough income? What about covering your healthcare costs prior to Medicare?

    I lied...true about the hot wife, but I have had to spend every dollar I’ve made to keep her. Actually have second mortgage on the house, under water on the Mercedes lease. $150k in 401k @ 62 years of age
