It did take longer then expected for someone to finally mention the elephant in the room. Systemic discrimination, misogyny, nepotism, and favoritism is the culture promoted and practiced.

Who really cares about that crap? Just pay me for what I do and I’m fine. If an employee isn’t performing well in their job over a lengthy period of time, get rid of them! No matter their sex, color or any other demographic.

This confirms the issue. Indifference to gender or race.

Who cares? The EEOC for one. Your ignorance makes you a perfect candidate for management or HR.
The OP calls out the lack of opportunity based on gender and race.

As diverse as deserved based on experience, education, job description, and qualifications - we don’t give under qualified folks jobs to check a box - we are here to make money.

What a pathetic, unempathetiic comment. Certainly not s comment from a COE winner, you’re a perfect fit for a cultureless, amoral, non-diverse organization. You have assured job security.

You forgot to mention age discrimination (especially for women), this company is notorious for showing our experienced over 50 year old team members the door in the last 3 years. I know that several ex/current employees have been passed over for promotions or have been put on the bench because they don't fit the "culture" any longer- What culture, oh, the culture that promotes RD's for not performing as Sales Reps, or RD's that are at the bottom of the rankings, have several HR violations and are promoted to AD's? Document everything, you will need it when they show you the door!

Anyone hear that we are terminating our corporate relationship with J&J on Jan 1, 2021, apparently the announcement will be in the next few days. Make no difference to me, the whole "collaboration" was a waste of time and one of DM's Titanic's. The J&J folks were very difficult to work with and had no accountability to our venture- I know we gave them a lot of of money to sponge off our efforts- RW, PM, VS, DM and the rest of the brain banks thought the relationship was vital to our success and made careers off amazing success! It was so successful we are terminating it after 3 years!!!!

This company is so fortunate that Heron’s management team more inept than Pacira’s.

Previous poster is spot on, Pacira does not promote on merit. If it did the last four RDs would still be AMs and ranked at the bottom of COE rankings.

Denny’s failure as an AD led to his move to spearhead the DPS collaboration. That landed in the crapper with his stellar leadership. Doh Murph’s inspiring leadership led to his being booted to TelaBio; see “Peter Principle.”

Pacira, in its infinite wisdom, paid millions of dollars to J&J reps that still cannot pronounce bupivacaine. For you DPS knuckleheads is byoo-piv-uh-keyn. Sorry Joyce D., it’s not bra-piv-a-kane. Millions of dollars were paid to disinterested, arrogant DPS reps who continue to laugh all the way to the bank.

    Nice job Denny!

this is not just in sales, take a look at the females who left corporate in the past few years - highly qualified/highly competent women who got put in the corner - because of their age....... so now we have to train the youngsters in how to do their jobs.

If you have such a problem with an issue that is obviously has been a part of our culture, like it or not, for the entire history of this company - you are in no place to complain. Lead, follow, or get the f—k out of the way!

By the way you constructed your comment, it is apparent you really excelled in grammar class! Let me guess, online college? I believe the past contributors are bringing up issues that have been swept under the caret for many years, so others realize they are not alone. As a female that works for this company, I appreciate this forum (not all the time!) and wish our leadership and HR would be in touch with the sales force. "Lead, follow or get out of the way," is this what they are teaching you at pacira leadership University? Now it makes sense-
Hey A-hole- read a grammar book!
