Internal promotion v’s external hire

    Right so let’s just trust in your anecdotal observations. It’s tough being wrong, but you’ll survive.

    I came to Pfizer through acquisition. Pfizer was the last company that I would have applied for - it is too arrogant to realize that the huge success of their products were a result of science, not their "superior marketing". Too many former athletes and cheerleaders. Too many good ole boys. Very few good products remain.

    Very distorted image of themselves as a company. Most top specialty reps would not even consider Pfizer unless desperate, personal reasons, or looking for safety net. Oncology seems to be the shining star and is attracting talent from other companies which will continue to make it a force. Keep it up.

    Given what internals they promoted the past 2yrs, would been better of w externals with experience as lack of exp or training will kill an organization long term with people in roles they are not qualified for nor have the skill sets for

    Don’t come to Pfizer then. You just told our Senior Executives their plan to increase the diversity pool in leadership roles is BS. It’s based on race and ethnicity. Not competencies.
