Failure to launch

    You would think in times of an opioid crisis, a drug like HTX-011 would be approved and marketed immediately!?! Whats wrong with this product? Seems like the data was decent enough.

    I do know that the managers they hired are mostly from outside the space and a most of them are under qualified for their positions. The fact they hired the guy for the Mid-Atlantic (who is nothing but an HR nightmare) says a lot about them. Also sounds like every time they go to hire reps its a last minute effort. Maybe better leadership and planning is needed? If you have better management, you can get better talent. The guys they hired wouldn't know who to hire to get launched right.

    But that still doesn't explain what is wrong with the drug? Seems like Recro/Baudx was able to get off the ground with a far more questionable product. They did not have great middle management leadership either.

    There's got to be more to this story.
