Haven’t heard anything for a while since my last interview.

Has anyone out there received an offer yet?

I had my panel interview and still waiting to hear back.

When did you do the panel? Did they say there would be a next step?

The hiring Mgr on my panel was a complete robotic drone. Read straight from a script and showed no emotional interaction.

I heard you talk to hinting managers, manager for the last interview.

Can you tell me about a time you interviewed with a company that you believed had about a 20% chance of getting their drug approved?

I got called but not wasting time, seems very disorganized, Called to interview a few weeks ago, told them already got something else.

I understand that they are hiring in waves. I’ve had a P1 interview and I was told that the second wave interviewing starts in September so if you think you are out of the running, think again

You are correct. Was told by hiring manager not before August. Still would like some input on what others were told by p1 recruiter about pay.

Pay strictly based on if hiring Mgr is interested in you along with what your current base is. Low end will be 5% above current base and high end 10%.

Why would they give you an offer if the hiring manager wasn’t interested in you? How would that determine pay?

BINGO spells bingo!! Glad you are following along. Salary means nothing at this point. Get the offer first and then worry about the 5-10% bump in pay. Geeeeeez

It is illegal in multiple state for a company to ask your current salary, so that’s fake news.

    Exactly

Then you can lie about your salary. Knock yourself out. Loser!

I love that people feel the need to share their current salary- regardless of whether or not it’s illegal. When asked simply ask them if they walk into a used car dealership and say I have 20K = what can that buy me? Ask them what kind of salesperson you would be if you show all your cards and are unable to negotiate. If you have to put a number down I put down either a dollar or a million dollars. They will figure it out that you are not answering... It’s not rocket science. The job is worth a certain amount- with a range- and you are either in that range or not. You can top the range with identifiable qualifications and experience. If you honestly do not know the salary range for this type of position, you probably aren’t qualified for the job.

I bowed out right there on the spot today during my panel interview. Dweeb Mgr starting asking me How often I do Pod meetings at Starbucks and how I prepare for them. I was like c ya I’m not your guy. These positions will be totally micro big pharma.
