They do violate employee rights a lot here in Finance, although I doubt anyone will go file a law suit. We used to have some good, smart people able to speak up, but they preferred to just quietly leave.
It's been a little better since we started working remotely, but I'm scared to go back to the office because nasty things will start over again. Nothing will change until bad managers are replaced.

You Don't and you Can't know who posted it. Only thing is obvious here- that you are one of those nasty managers person was complaining about.

FF has to go. He's the worst. They need to start looking at exit interview results in evaluating managers performance.

Has there ever been a manager that was fired? Legit fired, not laid off.

Yes, PC was fired two years ago.
He was the controller after EH left.

Can someone tell the married men loving chic on 2 to leave me and others alone? She's not exactly a spring chicken and flirts with the staff married men non stop. Not even the pandemic cooled her down. She's been around the block and got a thing only for men who are taken.

PC may not have been well liked but wasn't fired. He was bullied out. Everybody on both floors knows that. Imature adult bullies are a common thing at Taro.

I'd never been big fan of former controller PC but for the sake of truth, he was not fired. He found another job and left without a 2 weeks notice.

Leaving without giving notice is idiotic.
You give up your vacation accrual and other benefits.

Leaving without notice = He was terminated.

Never seen any manager been fired- at least on the 2nd floor.
In successful companies with healthy work environment, bad managers are given a boot and good managers are retained and rewarded. In broken, toxic environments stupidity and bullying flourishes and gets promoted, while smart, ethical people rush out. New CFO is the only hope for a change now.

I don't know about any managers being terminated, but I remember one senior finance guy that was hired about three years ago who was not given any training or guidance about his job. He walked out a few weeks later because he was very frustrated. The hostile work environment only got worse from then on.

There is no training, no cross training, an understaffed group, unrealistic deadlines, bosses don’t know what the hell their staff does and vice versa. Totally hostile environment , goal is to keep your head above water every day, or you drown with the fishies. Very sad way to operate the blood and guts of the organization. Hopefully there will be some changes.

Their only goal was to see how they could juggle their schedules to meet at Captain Lawrence for two hour lunches. They could give two sheets about employee development.
