C-Suite learned it at Abbott and models it to the rest of us every day. Never seen anything like the culture at AbbVie.

This is not true. Humira BLA was ready to file to FDA at the time of the Knoll acquisition. Check your history. In fact, it was submitted very shortly after or actually around the time of the deal close. They used Knoll scientists and outside consultants since Abbott was too dumb to ever have filed a BLA and then fired them all since they were way smarter than Abbott people.

It is noted that Stalinist revisionist history is also part of the AbbVie story and culture. See it all the time.

Its a good place to work and a bad place to work. It all depends on your boss.

you need to STOP bashing CF! She’s been gone for several years now.. get over it! Move on with your life .. PTSD from her? Probably, but instead of bringing up old news.. focus on what’s happening right now! Abbvie likes to hold on to toxic DMs Because they think managing by fear and complete intimidation gets the results. Only problem is.. it doesn’t work in the long run - people quit, get fired, or are miserable until they can move internally. That type of management style no longer works In today’s workplace and those type of DMs should be removed from their roles and put in something where they do not manage other people. Abbvie is catching on and has done just that to a few bad apple DMs ... Little by little it will change.

Most naive post ever. This will never change until there is change at the top.

Feeling a little guilty about how terribly you treated people? This is just one site that's still talking about you. Perhaps you shouldn't have been so mean and cruel to people? Perhaps you shouldn't have told so many lies?

So true. AbbVie is the only company I have worked for where lying is considered ok.

All these letters coming from leadership about racial equality is so ridiculous! Everyone of color at AbbVie knows that if the color of your skin brown or black you WILL be treated differently. For more than a decade National Sales Meeting were a sea of white. Recently on a leadership call, a black person said when she visited a physician the doctors said they were surprised to meet her. She asked why and the doctor replied, because AbbVie is a White company. You could hear a pin drop!

The awakening at AbbVie is too little to late for most that have endured years of discrimination. These letters make great fire starters. Black or brown down fit at AbbVie. Especially black or brown women.

Good luck to all in the new culture

Interesting. Allergan is no better. Every executive and person in leadership is white. Most of them dont know their ass from their head.

That narrative is tired. Work hard. Your daddy wasn’t around to tell you to work hard. Hard to compete and win against hardworking people

Let’s be honest. The only diversity that gets ahead at Abbvie is Colombian and if they are white. So much discrimination against people of color and all other latinos. Do you ever wonder why nobody joins the latino network? Who runs it? The Colombian who only hires Colombians and hates all other latinos.
Abbvie culture? Same old Abbott culture - boys club.

So many deadbeats can only blame others. You are weak. You are lazy. You smoke pot. You just don’t have the skill or stamina to do a great job and earn anything.
