Otezla volume continues to climb despite everything, including COVID

    Otezla Rep here- I would say the poster above is very accurate.

    Ron and our Sales Leadership are really respected by all of us it seems. They have always motivated us with contests, good pay and amazing international Presidents Club trips. They never weighed us down with conference calls or extra work. I’ve been an Otezla Rep for several years and even being towards the bottom for some of it I never once thought about leaving. Otezla is a great drug but it can also be a difficult product to sell bc efficacy is so-so, but I think our sales force has definitely been motivated to push.

    I will say, although Amgen is different, so far they have treated us very well. I realize we are not fully integrated into how Amgen would normally do things, but they have treated us well (I’m speaking for Otezla side) especially given the times. I hope that gives some perspective for someone coming from the outside in. Hopefully Amgen doesn’t change things too much, but I guess time will tell (and sales numbers.)

    When RO leaves 2 of the 3 regionals are gone, 1 DM in the East, 1DM in the West, and the entire DM group in the South are gone. The top 25% of the sales force will be gone within 4 months after that.

    Once you've worked in a culture of performance that rewards performance, not activity, you can't go back.

    This is not the Amgen way, they screw up everything they touch and you will all soon be gone. HR is watching you right now.
