    Is it true that Abbott is discouraging or not actively encouraging remote work?

    Told we have to be in the office and can’t work remotely, despite having the capability to.

    Aren’t You Embarrassed you work for a company that Didn’t Develop A Coronavirus Test for Alinity? You know, Abbott Diagnostics Division . Roche is going to sweep all the government funded testing With there new core lab testing unit ! Typical Abbott is holding its hand Hey we’ll catch up! And we’re a Diabetes Company

    The office is open for business, normal hours. No work from home unless previously approved. Unnecessary absence will be dealt with accordingly. Vacation time is allowed.

    Wait till an Abbott rep contracts the virus and his calls are traced back 3 weeks (the incubation period) and they realize the rep went from office to office spreading the virus to patients in several offices. Can you say massive lawsuit. I know if it happened to me or my family I would be seeking counsel and going after the deep pockets.

    Awful response to the pandemic...only focused on their bottom line and could care less about health and well being of employees let alone society as a whole. Shit company with shit leadership

    shame shame shame on abbott

    forcing employees back into the office

    forcing employees to sign consent forms giving hr access to employee medical records

    forcing employees to take covid19 tests to gather data on the inaccurate covid19 test

    forcing employees to assert that they have covid 19 symptoms in order to be given the test

    threatening disciplinary action for employees that refuse to go along

    this will all be in the news
