Straight from KAT playbook that worked so well for her at Walmart, IT employees told that their work will be handed over to the talented and highly capable hands of Indian workers. Around 200 people will be out in January 2021.

Numbers I saw were more like 300, it only gets down to around 200 if all the "new" roles are filled with current staff impacted by the outsourcing.

You may be correct. I may have been too busy LEANING IN and missed that slide. All of the roles I saw (which were not *all* of the new roles) had "(Temp)" next to them.

basically they are moving all jobs to india, but they are only putting a few on notice for now until they can replace everyone.

I wouldn't call 300 out of 800 "a few." But I agree that they will eventually get around to all 800.

You just need to LEAN IN more. So say our benevolent leaders.

The expensive teams produce NOTHING. Now that the 'tenured employees' are being shown the door, watch reliability and productivity crash as Kat's Indian army takes over. But hey, if you know how to sell bananas, you know how to sell pharmaceuticals.

Seems like a large percentage of the new roles are director level, which I expect the Core Tech leadership to fill with more of their buddies from previous companies. I don't now how all of this is saving money when they continue to stack the deck with higher grade level (and higher paid) staff than the people they are getting rid of.
