As an investor, I really can't see how this department has helped Amgen become more competitive. Kras, BCMA, PSMA, DLL3, Amgen is and neck with the competition. A boondoggle, a fraud.

Didn't Dave Reese say, "We are not a chemistry organization of 3,000 individuals, but we have what I characterize as a Navy Seals team there."?
My God, what a bunch of bullshit hyperbole.

If you mean we don't have a lead because of R&D transformation that's incorrect. I'm not part of R&D but I work with various functions in a way that I have good insight into what happened with our onc pipeline, and it's we are just so damn slow to make decisions. Our studies move along so slowly because or lack of marketing and development alignment at the highest level, so there is tons of rework and we don't advance studies as fast as we should. We're just very risk averse and can't get our shit together with senior management being aligned on decisions. Bottom line, we had a lead with many of these molecules when they started phase 1 and we blew the lead because of execution failure and inability to make decisions.

In late 2019, the WSJ quoted sources at Amgen as stating "Amgen has cut an average of three years off the time it takes to bring a drug to market". This is obviously a false if not fraudulent claim without any actual data to support it.

Come on man, it's a line fed to investors, it's not real.

We provide you caterers with science backed products of renowned innovation. You have virtually nothing to do but cater lunches. The science behind our products sell them, not you.

Now, order me a vegan option or I'll have Rep Tracks throw your skinny ass out of the office.

On second thought, I'll just have my nurse bring my meal back to the office and you can fake a call like you saw me.
