Selling won't be the problem, getting it approved and infused will be. Depending on what area of the country you are in, it could be hard to find an infusion center that will be able to get set up, specially in this Covid environment. Some areas of the country have very few neurologist, so you are going to have to locate the geripsychiatrists and deal with the local FP's. Getting them to do the proper paperwork and chart appropriately, will be next to impossible. You will earn every dollar you make.

You 2 are morons. You have to work on getting facilities ready and work on reimbursement with all infusions, especially new disease treatments. You act like COVID will make or break it. It probably won’t be ready for launch for at least a few months, and, yes, it will be a slower go, but so what? Patients will lose interest? Ha! You clearly don’t know the market!

And, yes, primarily care docs are front line...yet they still make it to psychs and neurons already! The job will absolutely require some disease awareness educating to primary care as swell...so it doesn’t eliminate neurons as a target or make it any less of a specialty drug...

You realize that many times new therapies have come out that have caused primary care to refer sooner to specialists, right? For starters...it’s happened in pretty much any disease state that has a biologic as treatment.

Geez...sure glad you two geniuses didn’t get hired.

It is CLEARLY YOU are the one who doesn’t know the Az market I worked in for the last 20 years. Very few specialists as the above posted stated. Also, the forced off label promotion was out of control. That happened all over the board with FP. FP is the most compassionate of the bunch that treat AZ. Psych and Neuro give me a break. “I am sorry Mr Patient...that is all I can do for you.” Now Back to FP you go.

I spent over a decade in the market selling an AD drug. Plenty of specialists that were huge. Who do you think runs memory centers? Maybe you’re in a very rural area. Also, if they are sending patients back to the FP, like you stated, then they are still making it to the specialist, which is all we need to happen!
Maybe if you have sold a biologic or something more complex than a pill, you would understand the paradigm shift from primary care to specialty that has happened with many disease states when a more complex treatment came to market.

You deserve a partner since all you know how to do is follow The Pharma 101 playbook. I bet if it weren’t for managed care wins you wouldn’t have a single script. Only YOU know how to sell a biologic, right?

Easy there, Tiger. Not at all, but it’s just clear that you don’t understand how they change a disease state market. Sorry you’re so bitter about not getting the job.
