Regarding powder puff liberal arts degrees, the numerous Pharm D's, RPH's, BSRN's, NP's, PA's, etc... I have encountered over the years have been stunningly inept communicators. Their curriculum lends itself to memorization rather than critical thinking. The old saying was that pharmacists lick, stick, and poor. Lick the Rx label, stick it on the Rx bottle, and pour in the pills. Now they can print out the indications, contraindications, and AE's and remove any need for verbal communication.

This is simply not true. Truth is, covid has kept many in the field safe because Merck doesn't want to face the public scrutiny of laying people off during the pandemic. So enjoy the extended vacation, once you go back the countdown clock starts
