I do think that S&N is acquiring someone. They have to round out their product offering and we make sense or Tournier. The real question is will it be a good thing for us?

Makes sense Smith and F U will buy exactech. Management and a lot of distributors were former orange starburst recruits.

Stryker buys Wright now who buys us? Depuy? S&N? Eventually we are going to be bought.

Pretty quiet so far this year. Will it be Depuy? ZB? SNN?

It’s looking like Smith & Nephew will be the winner.

Lol are you the same person that said the acquisition would be announced “next week” a year ago?

The idea that there won’t be consolidations in this industry isn’t very realistic. It will happen but you’re right about who knows when? It may or may not be S&N but we have too many great products to be left alone.

I am hearing that we have several interested parties ready to pull the trigger and that the holdups center around potential lawsuits.

Our manufacturing is our Achilles heel. If we cut corners and get busted by the fda then that’s on us. Tibial trays could bring us down or at least lower the acquisition cost for a competitor to buy us.

We do have good products and a great shoulder platform that should look attractive to potential buyers. It’s not Stryker so who? J&J, ZB, Medtronic or someone else. A pending legal action blows. Been hearing rumblings of a tibial issue. Time will tell.

What’s up with the tibial trays? Packaging, manufacturing or failure?

Well S&N buys Integra and not us. I think that’s good news!

We dodged a bullet but we are going to be bought by someone. At least it’ll probably be a larger player.

The only product that a competitor would want is our shoulder. J&J?

That’s what the buyer would want, the shoulder. It’s silly to think that it’s a great shoulder and nobody wants it. ZB and Depuy have old systems and could right a check for us.
