That’s awesome. Imagine if you were at my company. Your bonus would probably be $120k. And all of my colleagues rock.

You’re settling for mediocrity. But you do you. BI is a great place for that.

Not true about leveling. I was leveled two years ago and my base went up almost $14k in December. And I was still able to get 3% on April 1. It happens at the regional level and only a couple each year. I got lucky... I’m happy with my salary now... Nervous for tomorrow’s news though.

Leveling only occurs if you are significantly lower than the salary band for your role. If you got a bump it will only bring you up to the lowest level of the salary band (80-120%) which explains why you were eligible for the 3% raise.

I’m reapplying to my old position. Since so many new hires are hired at Executive level, should I expect a re-evaluation in pay bracket? How does the company legally manage to have two criteria for executive rating? ( New hire vs existing employee)

Good luck! It is because of these double standards I left . Might as well get the pay raise and title somewhere else.

And then they act shocked you would leave...

For the sake of your employees BI. Level set!

For Pete’s sake - if you can negotiate they will pay for you - if you’re experienced and been through it - put JSPS on your title they will offer you accordingly

My bad. I thought the question was, “how much did you get when you left BI?”

Not entirely true. The story end with me being rich and retiring early and you enjoying mediocrity.
