Joe is a complete dumbass! Tried and tested. Justin has my back. I just want to do less and make more. It’s that simple all y’all!

This is getting crazy. I don’t know Joe, but the above sure sounds like Justin or someone in his inner circle who he has been put up to defending his honor and fighting his perceived enemies. Justin just cut a huge portion of our team and changed most of our territories. Sure seems likely that many of us would have real issue with how he treats his team and people around him. Wish Merit would adopt 360 reviews and the ability to provide honest feedback in a safe and protected way. Real feedback could be actionable and provide the data needed to help propel our company and leaders to the next level, instead of airing our dirty laundry all over the internet.

They have fully taken advantage of covid to rake the reps over the coals. Layoffs, cuts, no expenses, no support ... yet their “stock looks nice”. The salesforce has taken the beating, And physicians are noticing.

Yes. It seems like the actual people doing the work are the least considered. The optics are terrible.

If your "leader" is a sociopathic college dropout that was fired from the only job he ever had, this is what you get.

Look to nepotism and cronyism = Lampropoulos, Wright and Gill.

Nepotism is a problem but the cronyism is often overlooked. Almost everyone in the top management positions are unqualified cronies promoted from within merely because they are sellouts.

    nep·o·tism
the practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs.

    cro·ny·ism
the appointment of friends and associates to positions of authority, without proper regard to their qualifications.

    Plenty of both

So When does the new board start voting people off the island?

Only 3 new board members. Not sure they have the power to vote anyone off the island. Don’t expect the others to vote themselves off either.

More changes to come. Isn’t it a bigger problem than just jr.? They grew faster than they could manage. It happens.

Fred may have built Merit but he gave up ownership when he decided to go public. Merit belongs to the shareholders. It’s not an empire to be handed down.

In each franchise JL has single handedly made disastrous unilateral decisions. Every sales rep and manager disagreed behind his back. A weak leader surrounds himself with weakness so no one says a thing.

Each unilateral decision proved predictably wrong. $Ms in revenue lost as well as wasted critical market opportunities. All due to one person.

When a serious mistake happens in med device sales the responsible party must walk. At Merit it’s crickets. Then the scramble to blame someone or something and rearrange everything yet again so that no-one can track JL's failings.

About time Liu left. Strange to see him publicly connected to these shifty characters.
