Good news coming and hopefully with the realignment changes by mid November, this will allow better focus on call frequency with key targets.

Who is handling the recruitment? Or will these jobs be posted on company site?

Probably internal through HR. Hearing decisions on interviews wont happen until maps and territory cuts are finalized. Probably wont see new regional maps until mid September.

Hiring more reps is the answer? I thought more calls per day was magic bullet. 18 calls per day for neurology is the industry standard according to leadership. When your sales director has never directed, ya got problems! More reps is ridiculous. New Upper management. Craig, stop hiring your neighbors and get some real talent.

Craig does like to make some odd hires.

consultants with minimal experience become VPs, Directors who have never even been managers, I guess the price is right.

pretty sure the plan was to flip this at some point like he did Questcor.

We need more reps to cut down these ridiculous sized territories. If I could see my targets more often I would be much more valuable to my brand.

Then move to an urban territory, What is good for you might not be good for everybody else. Use virtual calls on the outliers if you are going to whine about traveling. That is why you were hired. They told you upfront the territories. Go back to family practice if you want a small territory, This is specialty. There are only so many to go around. You just don’t walk into a family practice office on every corner and say “hey are you writing some rectal diazepam?” These targets are top heavy with the rest being metrics filler. A small territory equals less opportunity.

Oh and like you think you really make a difference? The territory, geography, managed care coverage and ultimate catering skills is all that matters. This job is so lame and I'll keep cashing my checks. Most high school drop outs could do what we do.

You better not let the manager catch on to you our attitude. They will let you go man.
