Erbe USA

Can anyone give me some info about Erbe USA? I found a three-year-old thread...not much help.
Products any good?
Compensation?
Management?
Any candid feedback (pros/cons) would be great.

I was an independent with them about 5 years ago and they were great. I do not have any recent info on them, but they used to do it right. The only negative is that they have stayed in GI primarily and that their products are so good, once you sell one, you won't sell that account a replacement for a while.

 

Was an independent with them 2 years ago & agree with the above poster. Great company & product & the managers I dealt with were outstanding. I'd hate to be selling one capital item in this market but if you are going to sell one, you could do a lot worse.

Thanks for the feedback. The comp plan I'm seeing right now isn't as lucrative as I had hoped, but it looks like a great product line. I used to be in GI market and loved it. Left for a "better" opportunity and it tanked. So despite the comp plan, it might make sense to go for this one.
Any other people out there with info about Erbe plz feel free to offer it up!

To be successful you have to sell. Armed with the best technology in the industry you have no excuses. And if $200K+ for the best sales reps is not 'lucrative' then you must have been earning some pretty sweet coin at your previous gig. 10-15% growth every year in the capital arena during this economy is not to be sniffed at.

 

Lots of competition! Conmed, Bovie, etc... Lasers, plasma

 

How do they compete with megadyne?

 

Hi all - I was contacted by a recruiter for a position with Erbe, and aside from a few things on here and other websites, there isn’t really too much info on the company since it is private and has a bigger presence over seas. With that being said, I have heard of industry leading products, longevity for reps, $225k+ first year at plan, good culture, realistic quotas. Are these numbers and accusations accurate? Any insight would help, hoping to move through the process once the virus passes. Thanks!

 

Great company! They have a fantastic new generator in the VIO 3 and just did a partnership with PSS Urology that is opening up the Urology market. Good times ahead!

 

Agreed, initial evaluations with the VIO3 and PSS Urology bipolar electrodes are excellent. Urologists say it's the best they've ever seen.
