Looks like White Suburban kids leading the revolution on television in Portland, Wisconsin, Seattle etc. They realize the evil atrocities committed by their ancestors and trying to make amends.

First, "you people"? Seriously? And with that as your stance you once again put forth the "it's us (or me in your specific case") against the "white folk". "Is this the only quote you know from him"...well, not quite. How about this one
" I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.

I have a dream that one day out in the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood."

How do you propose we get to that table of brotherhood with what you are saying? How can that happen if all you see are "slaveowners" no matter where they come from?
We need people of all races and backgrounds to work together to tackle this problem across the board. You don't think that there are inequalities across the board that affect more than just you? You don't think that the movement today with this generation of whites and blacks together is a force that is uniting people across the color line? Are there people "in the hotel room just throwing food around"? Well, certainly there have been. You also insinuate that it must be only "white folk" in that room.....rest assured I have seen all colors in that room doing that. Does excuse biased behavior or does that mean that there are not people in that very same room (of all ethnicity and gender) trying to change that, stop that, have a totally different view and are working to remedy that? I believe (correct or not) that this movement is one for personal, individual change which has to happen in order for our society to change. If you or I don't see the value of each other as an individual, then we can't move forward much at all. Perhaps this next statement will not sit well, but the Black community is not the most disregarded or discriminated sector of our society. The group who sadly labors under burden that was here well before White or Black came to this continent. No, I am not trying to diminish the focus of the current movement or disregard the black community. Rather to highlight how the change needs to occur to our individual view of the value of each other or we as a society or community will not rise to where all people need to be. Put another way from Dr. King "When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every tenement and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old spiritual, “Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, we are free at last.”

"evil atrocities committed by their ancestors"... I guess your premise is that we all fall under the "original sin doctrine" then. With that, are you willing to call out everyone's ancestors as there are plenty on all sides of this discussion guilty of "evil atrocities". People profiting off of other people is a utterly disgusting part our worlk that continues to this day no matter race or ethnicity. If we are all guilty of and have to "make amend" for what ever "evil atrocities" our ancestors have committed then truly there is no hope for the next generation, or the ones after that, to be seen other than being an de facto guilty perpetrator.

Wow... a platform for white men to come on here anonymously and post their racist bullshit. Lovely. I for one feel proud to work for a company who takes racial injustices seriously. As a parent who has black children, I’m scared every damn day by our racist president and how everyone feels like it’s okay to be openly racist. Good for Geoff and Medtronic for recognizing the harm racism has, and bravo to white people who can look in the mirror and realize how we contribute to the inequities.

The only thing you should be afraid of is how ignorant you are.

If he is doing such a great job, why has the stock tanked since he took his role? How do these policies enable Medtronic's coveted mission statement? They are questionable at best.
