I guess they did not have the right mindset. What a crock that was.

Yes we all left thank goodness we had that opportunity. I am sad that this company which once was great ended up this way. But look at who they Hired over the last 5 years. BAMs BEMS RGMS BIPPITY BOPPITY BOO....OMG what a complete waste. They wouldn't work with reps pretended to actually know what was happening in accounts. Florida, Pennsylvania Ohio just to name a few "Pioneers" jokes all of them.
They happen to be hanging on for dear life....oh yeah, nurse educators now reps now bigger joke.you all deserve each other.

Even though most nurse educators are good people it was a fatal error to hire them as reps. Totally different skill set and a real cluster.

And now these leaders pass over superior candidates in favor of their own bootlicking D & I hires so the cycle can continue

I’m amazed they hired HD’s with virtually no “people management” experience. Some of these folks think Zoom Meetings are important. I think they simply want attention, and to hear themselves talk. Here’s a hint to those promoted that weren’t managing people...leave us alone, we know what we are doing and don’t need 6 hours of your Zoom fetish.

Huh? Whuuuuuu? Nancy Nancy, someone says your leadership team isn’t approachable and doesn’t create a healthy culture, and your response is to say talk to your leadership? This has become a comedy show! True, the person was a crybaby thinking leadership gives a damn, but that’s the best you got, Girl??? Well, how ironic your reports feel the same way about you. They boast about their regions and ecosystems industry changing approach but aren’t honest that this is becoming a miserable failure. Honestly it Isn’t too late to right the ship, but you need to surround yourself with honest people, the people who will tell you what is wrong!

Beg to differ. This is a total disaster under current leadership and management. Clean house, (as if), and maybe we could salvage something but with few products and a meager pipeline good luck.

I agree with the poster's assessment on our current management. (please note that I wouldn't call them leadership team) However, I disagree that this ship can be salvaged. There are no more honest people left in management. All the smart and competent leaders already left. They read the writing on the wall when they saw the new captain of this sinking ship. We only have snakes and ass-kissing clowns these days. You cannot recover from this disaster when you have hubristic bozos steering the Titanic. It is like watching the arrogant version of Dumb and Dumber. Roche deserves every bit of this comedy when they picked these vengeful and subpar people to run the show. I will be abandoning this boat in a few weeks too. Good luck!

Assuming there must have been some sort of "leadership" call today to continue to try and force feed you your daily dose of bullshit baby food and bolster morale among this sinking ship of fools. I am truly sorry and feel for those of you who stayed. I chose the package and got out. It's not too late ... there IS life after Genentech and the grass IS greener.

I don't think this thread is asking the right question. The worst HED/HD is the same as the best.

The problem is with the Customer Engagement model itself which is no different than before. We wasted a year and a half and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

We do have something to show for indeed! We replaced the good people with the bad and just showed the world what not to do!

What a novel idea - actually engaging customers!

It’s quite astounding that EJ is in this Leadership role. Every grain of his character goes against Genentech culture. Having worked with him for years, I am shocked SLT allows his style of leadership. It appears evident by his people rapidly leaving the VA ecosystem and going to other organizations.

Stop right there. No such thing as Genentech culture. Left the building several years ago.
