I would not take package now. I have one kiddo entering college next year and one finishing. 529 savings at $150000. Mortgage not paid off either. If I can get 4 more years in pharma than I think I will go work at Target or become a crossing guard. Seriously. I will always work, just not sales.

Probably wise to work a few more years in Pharma depending on your age. $500K is what you have outside of your 401K right? Is that $500K just in taxable account or does it include home equity, cars, boats, and your kids’ pretax educational funds?
